Wolf of Wall Street Review Film and Television

While reading the review of Wolf of Wall Street by FIlm and Television I had mixed feeling about what was being said. I agreed with the critic about the length of the movie because 3 hours was just a little long for my taste. Although it had some repetition I still think  it was one of the funniest and most entertaining movies iv seen in quite a while. The party scenes were outrages and hilarious. While this critic thought the length and repetition brought down the movie, I think it was great the way it was. Wolf of Wall Street was one of the funniest and most entertaining movies i have seen in the past year.

Director

One of my favorite directors is Tim Burton. He has a creepy style to many of his animated movies like Nightmare Before Christmas. He has also directed action films including one of my favorites Planet of the Apes. His most peculiar film is Edward ScissorHands which is very creepy but a great movie. Overall TIm Burton is one of my favorite directors because of his unique directing style.

Best Producer

One of my favorite producers is Michael De Luca. He has produced many high budget top films including some of my favorites Gladiator, Avatar, Saving Private Ryan and Titanic. He is a very successful producer and hopefully will continue to produce movies for the years to come. I cant wait to see what he does next!

Screenwriter

One of my favorite screenwriters is Quentin Tarantino. He has written many fantastic films, my favorites being Django Unchained, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. For both Django and Pulp Fiction he won best screen write from the Academy Awards. That is why i believe Quentin Tarantino is one of the best screenwriters and I am very excited to see what he writes next.

Mr. Y's Questions

1. I have learned how the use of different camera angles can symbolize different emotions and roles in a scene. Now as i watch a movie a notice how the camera angles change and how it effects the scene.

2. I have brought many ideas to the table in our group work. Including settings and scene ideas for our movie.

3. I am looking forward to learning more about filming movies and putting it to work in our group movie. Also I am excited to see what other films we will be viewing throughout the class.
